The monthly Investment Committee Meeting report is due this morning. Last night, I rushed for the last minute revisions on my report. But being afraid that I might be late for the devotional prayer scheduled after the worship service, I immediately copied the report and some of my next day’s deliverables to my thumb drive and took them as my homework.
I was really fighting the effect of the Ibong Adarna’s song as I was finishing my report. When I thought I was done with it, I didn’t bother to shutdown my laptop. I just closed it and bumped my head in my pillow. Thank God I was done saying my prayer before I started doing my homework.
Morning came and when I arrived in the office I did some more checking and revisions then printed my report. I had to replace every folder that has that report so I had to remove the staple wire binding the papers. I borrowed a stapler with a staple wire remover from our AVP and carefully removed the fastening of the papers in each folder.
While doing that, I carefully examined the papers from where I removed the wires. There were two holes in every page. Then I do not know why but I instantaneously associate it to friendship. We cannot remove the staple wires from the fastened papers without leaving a mark in each leaf. And if we are not careful, we might rip the edge of the paper by mistake.
I feel sleepy now but before that, I have to search the web about the number of calories being burned during any activity.
So long! Farewell! I have to say goodbye for now.
